   Welcome to Emy’s Guide. This is my guide to discover, explore, learn, have great adventures, amazing trips, enjoy with your kids their childhood and live a happy life with them in Egypt.

   I enjoy being with kids, talking with them, teaching them and learning a lot from them. I started working in the educational field 1998 so I early realized how the first years in life are very important, for the kids , what they do, see, feel or experience can really affect their future. It’s a huge responsibility.

   So After working with different schools, nurseries and AMIDEAST Egypt https://www.amideast.org/egypt , I decided to homeschool my kids before I even have them. Schools don’t teach or give what I believe kids should have the opportunity to learn, discover, have and enjoy.

   I started collecting books, puzzles, educational programs to watch instead of the regular TV channels to learn English, Science, Math, History, Geography, Art, different cultures and traditions and a lot more  and turned our home into our little nursery kids friendly environment and got ready to have my first child 2008.

   We live in Egypt so we still need to go to a school, but what I started early with the kids made a huge different, it gave them a good chance to get easily in a well-known high reputation school in Cairo.

  We use every chance we get to go out, discover, explore and visit a lot of special places and attend different kinds of events like Science Fairs, Religious and other Celebrations with embassies and cultural centers or universities or ministries. Visit a lot of museums, mosques, churches and historical places because we are very lucky to have a lot of that here in Egypt.

  After 10 years of working with my own kids and a lot others, I learned a lot and got a great experience, discovered and enjoyed a lot of places and events. And started to share what we do on my Facebook account  https://www.facebook.com/emy.abaza.71 and created an account on Instagram to add our photos  https://www.instagram.com/emyabazaguide/ to help any parent in Egypt and to encourage them to enjoy their lives with their kids. And of course to show people all over the world how amazing Egypt can be.

  My kids are my heart and soul. They are amazing. I’m blessed, grateful, thankful and really lucky to have them. I’m doing my best to face our challenges together and live with them a happy life full of great special times. So help me God.
